A simple version of the popular salad with fried chicken, homemade croutons, and a tangy dressing.

Simple Caesar Salad

Instructions

  1. Cut the chicken fillet and fry in a preheated pan with olive oil until lightly browned (about 10 minutes) or boil in salted water until tender (20-25 minutes).

  2. Cut the loaf of bread into cubes and dry in the oven (15-20 minutes at 170-180 degrees) or fry in a pan until golden. For extra aroma, you can preheat the oil with garlic first.

  3. For the dressing, mix minced garlic, mustard, salt, pepper, olive oil, and lemon juice (optionally add a spoonful of mayonnaise).

  4. Hard-boil the eggs and chop them into large pieces. Cut cherry tomatoes in half. Wash the lettuce leaves, dry them, and tear by hand.

  5. Arrange the lettuce leaves on a plate, add the chicken, and pour the dressing over it.

  6. Add tomatoes and eggs to the salad, grate cheese on top, and sprinkle with croutons. Serve immediately.
