Instructions

  1. For the dough: Mix all dough ingredients well until a soft dough forms. Cover the dough and let it rise for 30 minutes.

  2. Divide the dough into 18 equally sized balls.

  3. Roll the balls out thinly on a lightly floured surface.

  4. Bake the rolled-out flatbreads in a hot pan, turning constantly.

  5. Immediately stack the finished flatbreads on top of each other and cover them with a cloth to keep them soft.

  6. For the ground meat filling: Add the butter and oil to a large pan.

  7. Add the finely chopped onions and garlic and sauté lightly.

  8. Add the finely chopped peppers and continue to fry.

  9. Add the ground meat and sauté while constantly stirring, breaking up any lumps.

  10. Add the tomato paste, pepper paste, and strained tomatoes and mix well.

  11. Add water and spices and let it cook for about 10 minutes.

  12. Dip the ends of each flatbread into the ground meat sauce and arrange the flatbreads on a plate.

  13. Spread some ground meat filling onto each flatbread. Repeat this process with 8-9 flatbreads.

  14. Finally, top with yogurt, sprinkle with chopped parsley, cut into pieces, and serve.
